Additional BO-04 Series Exchange-Traded Bonds of Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank Successfully Placed


Otkritie FC Bank successfully placed additional BO-04 Series exchange-traded bonds for a total nominal value of RUB 5bn. Following the placement, the principal and the additional issues were merged and the securities of both issues are now traded under the same number and ISIN, without differentiation between the principal and the additional issues. The aggregate nominal value of BO-04 Series exchange-traded bonds amounts to RUB 10bn. 

The bookbuilding for the additional issue was completed in one day. The offering price (net of accrued interest) amounted to 99.32% of the nominal value, corresponding to a simple yield of 11.97% per annum.

The additional exchange-traded bond issue was placed via a private offering using the MICEX trading and settlement systems.

A total of 18 investors who placed orders bought in.  

The depositary of the issue is the National Settlement Depository.

The issue has been included in the Lombard list of the Bank of Russia.

The issue has been included into the ‘A’ quotation list. 

The offering was arranged by the Issuer, Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank PJSC.

Currently, there is an outstanding issue of the Bank’s classic bonds (Series 12; RUB 5bn) and four issues of exchange-traded bonds: BO-03 Series (RUB 5bn), BO-04 Series (RUB 10bn), BO-05 Series (RUB 12bn), and BO-06 Series (RUB 7bn). All of the Bank’s bond issues are traded on the MICEX Stock Exchange in the ‘A’ quotation list. All of the Bank’s bond issues are also included in the Lombard List and the List of Securities Accepted as Collateral for Direct Repo Transactions by the Bank of Russia.

In addition to its Russian bonds, Otkritie FC Bank has four outstanding Eurobond issues totalling USD 1.65bn. A subordinated USD 350 million issue maturing in 2015 was placed in April 2010; a subordinated USD 500 million issue maturing in 2019 was placed in April 2012; a senior USD 500 million issue maturing in 2018 was placed in April 2013; and a subordinated USD 300 million issue maturing in 2019 was placed in December 2012.
